Learning to Rollerblade!

Taylor has been wanting to learn how to rollerblade all summer. He borrowed a neighbor's blades and pads and practiced all day yesterday. He is getting good and only had a few bad falls. He really wants to learn so he can play street hockey with all the kids on the street. They are all so nice and helped him learn and are being patient while he practices.
Aunt Nat took Taylor out to practice on rollerblading around the street. She is an expert skater! So far no broken bones, let's hope we aren't in the E.R. over the weekend.

This week is Fall Break so Taylor had no school. We went to a Halloween Carnival with games, crafts, treats etc.... at the Zoo. The kids had tons of fun eating candy, playing games, doing crafts and riding the Carousel as well as seeing all their favorite animals.

Isaac was thrilled to have his own little bag of candy. He is going to LOVE Halloween.

We love living close to the zoo, it provides endless fun and everyone always comes home thoroughly exhausted!

I would say that street hockey and zoos are in my top 5 of favorite kid activities (still are). We went to that zoo a few months ago and loved it.

you look great haley! and i am wishing that the zoo in las vegas was not scary and disease-ridden. you would think a big city would always have a good zoo, but ours is ghetto. i love how cute isaac is in the nursery post too. he is looking old!
