Happy 7th Birthday!

We had a fabulous Valentine's Day celebration.
Taylor started his special day with his favorite breakfast, waffles with Nutella. We hung out, went on a drive and had a fun relaxing day before church.
Then after church we had his Birthday Party. He wanted spaghetti and salad for dinner with an ice cream cake for dessert.

We had a yummy dinner with Goofy Grandma and Grandpa, G&G Shields, Marcus and Natalie. We all went around the table and told our favorite things about Taylor. Some things said were: his excitement about learning, he is very creative, he is a good big brother, he's willing to try new things, and he is a good student. He has so many fantastic qualities but these were just the highlights.

These are a few cute pictures of Taylor. I am so happy to have him in our family. He is such sweet, kind, good natured boy and I am love him!
Happy Birthday Taylor!

Weekend B-ball game etc,,,

Taylor has been playing Jr. Jazz basketball all winter. Their team is doing good and has made tons of improvement since the beginning of the season. Danny is their coach and has enjoyed spending time teaching the boys about the sport.

Taylor has started shooting really well and he's caught on to defense and has been stealing the ball and blocking shots. It's really fun to watch him play and have fun at the same time. Great job Taylor!

Birthday celebration

I took Taylor and a couple of friends to Classic Skating for a little birthday celebration. The kids had fun playing, jumping in the bounce houses, and riding their scooters on the jumps.

I was trying to give Taylor a kiss and got this instead, I love this picture, it describes Taylor lately. He is growing up and doesn't want a kiss from his mom in public! I still love you, even if you won't let me hug you in front of your friends!
