Sunday night we had our "Back to School" family dinner. We made pizzas on the pizza oven and had a fun night together. Then Danny gave each child a beatiful fathers blessings to start the new school year!

Monday morning the kids started School!!
We had a big, yummy breakfast to start the day.

The kids have mixed feeling about school. They were feeling nervous, scared, mad, tired, excited etc... to start school Monday morning.
Taylor goes with our neighbors to school, and leaves at 7:25
The other kids all leave with their walking groups at 8:05.
Emily is at Clayton this year! She's excited for 7th grade and hopes to have a great year! 

We took lots of pics with all the kid and their friends all morning long! We love our neighborhood and all the kids that are our friends. 

Natalie, Richie and Bowen were visiting this week from CA. They are here for a family wedding, and they blessed Bowen too! He is such a CUTE baby! 

Jenn and Chandler have been sending pics of their cute new baby, Millie. She is so adorable, we can not wait to meet her!  We really love having all these baby cousins.

Sunday after church we decided to head to the mountains. We went to Silver Lake and explored. We loved the cooler weather, the gorgeous views and seeing the wildlife etc.. it was a great afternoon and so fun! 

I am sad that summer is over, but it's nice to get back into a schedule and a routine etc.. I think it will be a great school year for all the kids! 

This was our last week of summer! We really packed in all the fun! Starting with a "back to school" swim party at there tennis club. They have all these really fun games and relays for the kids including at greased watermelon that is dropped off the high dive! Then the kids all dive in and try to get it out of the pool. It was a really fun night!  We had playdates with cousins, back to school shopping for school supplies and lots of hangout time with friends. 

Tuesday was our big street party for the "end of Summer!" We had the bouncy slide set up and ready to go at 9am and the kids played HARD outside on the slide ALL DAY LONG!  Its such a fun day and we all had a blast! I was exhausted that night but it was great! 

Lots of crafts, and time with cousins. Jen and Chandler had their sweet new baby girl this week! Name is not decided yet, and we love her so much already!  

On Friday Emily started school! They have the 7th grades come one day early to check our their schedules etc... She had a good day and was happy. 

Sunday was our last day before school starts. We had a "back to School" feast with homemade pizzas on our pizza oven, and peach pies! We did parent interviews with each kids, and then fathers interviews with each kid too. We have a theme from D&C too! It was a great day and we all are feeling excited and anxious about school!

Summer 2018 was fun, memorable and mostly great! 

This week has been another fun, busy, packed with cousins and friends summer week! We swam with friends, bowled with cousins, went to the park, did a little school shopping etc...

Danny & taylor had a fun trip to Flaming Gorge with the  YM in the ward. They swam, went boating, hiking, fishing and had a blast! 

Sunday night Danny and Taylor had some guitar practices going on and we had our awesome Trek Family over for games and snacks! We had SO much fun with them! We ate watermelon, ice cream and candy. Then he played tons of games of "Up Jenkins" and lots of "Mafia".  It was a terrific Trek reunion. 

Tuesday of that week we went to Time Cave with friends! We had a lot of fun hiking and going on a tour of the awesome caves! The kids all had a ton of fun- such a great and memorable day! 

We finally sold our van, we attended a beautiful wedding and had fun and Danny's work BBQ at the park. Look at how big Bowen is! We miss him! 

Friday night we went boating at Jordanelle with friends. It was a terrific night on the lake and so pretty!  We had a picnic dinner and had a great time on the lake! 

Saturday Danny and Lizzie went fishing at the lake in the morning and then the rest of us headed and met then at lunch. We had a picnic lunch, swam, surfed and knee boarded all afternoon. We love our days on the lake. 

We went to the "Back to School" party at the pool one night. The kids love all the games, and we had a fabulous night at the pool! long live Summer!!!!
