OCTOBER!

There was lots happening in October!  It was a crazy, wild month!
We moved in to our unfinished house at the beginning of the month. We were happy to be in there, but wished the house was done.
Three days later Danny and I went on a wonderful trip to Hawaii! Danny was going for work, and I tagged along to beautiful Oahu!
It was perfect week full of warm weather, gorgeous beaches, sun, fun, and relaxing.  Danny was  working too, but I was on the nap and fun schedule! It was amazing!

Here's a few pictures of the house remodel project.

Nat & Bowen came to visit, Lizzie had a dance recital, Emily put her face into a cream pie, and we had one last swim day at the Pearce's house. Lots of fun!

While we were in Hawaii the kids had at the Fun Run at Uintah, Isaac and a fun bday party with his friends, Taylor had a bike race at Eagle Mt. and he did great!

More pics from beautiful Oahu!

We had the red eye flight home from hawaii on Thursday night and Friday we drove to Cedar City to watch Taylor Race in the MTB State race in Cedar City. We had a fun weekend watching him race and he did great!  Lots of fun and good to be back with the kids too!

We celebrated Emily's birthday this week too! She turned 14 and and was happy to have Pavlova for her birthday treat!

Friday night we had an amazing bday party with her friends! We had a cool magician that came to entertain all the kids! Then they ate, played games and had a dance party.

Taylor went to the Masquerade Ball as a surfer and Emily had her 8th Grade show choir concert too! We also had a TV and a new couch delivered to our house.

We had the Shields Halloween Party at Colton's house too! Lots of fun on halloween week!

Happy Halloween!!
We had a good day full of fun, sugar, candy and games.
Lizzie was a koala, Isaac was a black morph suit, and Emily was Tweedle dum.

Happy October, now onto November!

We ended our summer with cousins swim days, starting soccer , a fun dinner at the Governor's mansions and more. Taylor was working a lot at Guthries. We swam with friends and cousins as much as we could and tried to soak in a lot of summer fun!

Taylor had his first MTB Race at Solider Hollow.  He rode well in the heat and the dust and placed 25th.

School started on Monday August 19th.
Some of the kids were more excited than others. But overall I think it will be a great year for all the kids!
Lizzie is in 3rd grade with Ms. Lapante
She is doing dance at CDT and soccer.

Isaac is in 6th grade with Ms. Ganuccio.
He's playing soccer and the trumpet.

Emily is in 8th grade at Clayton
She is starting Tennis and still does Volleyball.

Taylor is a Jr. at East High he was really excited about getting back to school.

We had dinner at Settebello with Ray & Mary.
I went to the temple once the kids were in school
Dad had a heart pace maker put in and was at the hospital for a couple days. But that didn't stop him from mowing with one arm!

We celebrated Grandpa Wall's birthday and went to the Tullis house after River's spoke in church. Salty continues to get in to a little bit of trouble.

More pics of Salty.

Lot of working on bikes for Taylors MTB races.
Grandma Deppe came to visit and we had so much fun with her! We watched the BYU /U Football game and Salty was wearing his Red shirt!

Emily went to a Yoga Class in the mountains for a bday party this week.
Taylor had another race at Powder Mountain. He did great and it was lots of fun to watch him ride. Katie and Adam came to support him too! We love having them live nearby.

Summer is in full force around here! Swimming, late nights, games with cousins, water parks, fun with the new dog, etc... We've had a good summer and have had lots going on. Isaac did an advanced diving class and he did awesome! We had cousins here to play a lot and we went to Cherry Hill Water park with friends. It ended up being super cold and windy but we had fun still.

Taylor had the life changing experience to attend the
WorldWide Boy Scout Jamboree in West Virginia. He was gone for 2 weeks and he loved every second of it! He slept in a tent with his friend Oliver and took freezing cold showers too.
The biked, skateboarded, river rafting, repelling, zip lining, hiking etc.. There was 152 countries in attendance with 45,000 people . Half to the scouts were girls! He made great friends, had an amazing experience and learned a lot.

We had our end of summer neighborhood celebration! The bouncy slide is always a hit! the kids played hard for 12 or more hours staying outside all day long!  It's such a fun day, but it's exhausting too! We love our neighbors and have many good friends here.

We have been working on remodeling our house all summer long! It's slowly starting to make a little progress.
Danny, Taylor and Emily went to Flaming Gorge with the youth for ward youth conference. They had tons of fun!
the kids went on a ride in the Randall's convertible to get gelato, what a hit! Salty is still a great dog and the kids really love him.

We went hiking at Cecret Lake with cousins one afternoon. The weather and scenery there is so amazing!  We love seeing the wildflowers and seeing where we ski in the winter. It's the best!
