This is has been an odd ending to the school year etc.. but we made it. The worldwide pandemic is still going strong and lots more counts daily of Corona Virus are being reported. SLC is still at a level orange, which mean no more than 20 people are allowed to get together. But the rest of the state is at a level yellow, which is 50 people. Lots of craziness going on worldwide.
There is a lot of racial violence going on too which has made the city start an 8pm curfew which was really bizarre.

Anyway there was a gorgeous sunset during a rainy sunset as we walked home in the rain.

We have been doing lots of hikes and enjoying the outdoors. The mountains are so beautiful right now! They are so green and it feels so good to be in the fresh air. We have fun hiking and exploring in the canyon with Salty and cousins, friends etc..

We celebrated Mother's Day up at Rockport Reservoir. We packed a dinner, made a fire, fished in the river, and hung out all day. It was a terrific way to spend Mother's Day and it was just what we needed. I love this crew so much!

The kids slept outside in tents one night and they had a blast!
We have been playing tennis, and being together during all of this quarantine time. The kids are doing well with Home school, but we are really ready to be done!

We have been boating most Saturdays because it's the best way to spend a day! We go to Rockport, eat lunch , swim, fish, and take care of Salty on the boat.

I have been hiking with friends and exploring these beautiful mountains. Danny fixed the railings with his welder and I was so happy. He is really good at so many things which I love!

Over Memorial Day Weekend we went camping at Flaming Gorge. We spent 4 days there and it was terrific time! The weather was a little colder than we anticipated but we had a blast!
We went out in the boat every day, fished, swam, played, cliff jumped etc.. Taylor brought his bike and he went on a long bike ride every day. We hiked and saw some  incredibly beautiful scenery etc.. It was amazing! That canyon is fabulous!

Even though the water was 58 degrees and the air was 59 the kids wanted to get into the water. They surfed, water skied , swam and and knee boarded. They are nuts! It was cold water!  We had the best weather on Monday it finally warmed up and the sun came out!

Danny went fishing on his birthday at 5am to catch kokanee and he took Lizzie with him. They had a great day. They saw this great rainbow at the sunrise.

Emily graduated from 8th grade!  It's tricky to graduate during a pandemic, with social distancing etc.. but we still had lots of fun celebrating her!  She is so smart, and kind and awesome!  We love her so much!  I am so proud of her and can't wait to see what she does in High School!

Her friends had a couple of parties on the last day of school. We had one at night with food, games etc.. the girls are all so sweet and nice!

We said goodbye to school this week! Lizzie finished 3rd grade and she did awesome! She loved her teacher Ms. Laplante
Isaac graduated from 6th grade and he has great grades! He worked hard during home school and kept up on all his assignments etc.. so well. And Emily is all done at Clayton!  I can't believe we are going to have 2 kids in high school! She had a great experience at Clayton and she is excited to move on to high school. We love her so much and we are really proud of her!

We celebrated Danny's birthday with a night on the lake, a family dinner with parents and Katie, and a delicious fruit tart. We got Danny some fishing gear for the boat and he loved it! Happy Birthday Danny! We LOVE you so much!

We have been swimming at Uncle Lynn's amazing pool with Katie and her boys, and spending lots of time outdoors!

While all the boys went on the Motorcycle trip we had a fun weekend with the cousins. WE had a sleepover, played games, watched both "Little Women" movies, braided hair, swam etc... Lot son fun and the boys had a good trip to Beaver Mountain on their campout.

Taylor had a midweek mountain bike race at Park City this week.  He raced great and had a good ride.
