More Quarantine lifeQWe

We spent all of April at home under "stay safe, stay home" orders. That means no school, no sports, no gym, no work for Danny (he now works from home), no dance class, no YM or YW, no church, no going to the temple, no family dinners etc... It's been stressful, hard, overwhelming, and exhausting. But we have tried to have some fun too.
A couple of Saturdays we drive to the West Desert to make a fire, cook lunch, hang out and shoot guns. It's a fun way to spend the day and everyone is happy, especially Salty. We rode thot he dessert on Conference Saturday. We listened to a session on the drive there and then enjoyed sunshine all day long.
Turns out the kids are really good at shooting targets, especially Emily. She won the $20!

During the week when we finish the kids home school, we bake, play games, do chores, and yardwork, and go for drives. Sometimes we drive-up the canyon, visit cousins and just chat in the car, or go to "Thirst" for a soda and a treat.

This day we hike to the "Living Room", we ended up getting pretty lost, but then found the right trail. We went to Hires for drinks and fries after.

We dyed Easter Eggs, and had a good Easter together.  Lizzie sits at the table while she does her school work. The kids are all doing really well at their school. Except Taylor, he rarely does school, hopefully he'll do ok at school this semester.

This day we went up Millcreek Canyon with Salty. He had fun in the river and we packed a picnic for lunch.

We have been doing bike rides to Sweetaly for gelato at night for a fun outing. It is really nice to have everyone home every night for dinner and an activity or hanging out. Without dance, VB, soccer, tennis lessons, music lesson, mountain bike rides, and mutual we have more time together.

Lots of family time together this month!
