May!

Emily is definitely turning into a  preteen lately! She is giving us lots of sass, and attitude! Love her so much!

Danny had an awesome work event this week. He was chosen for an award at work for "Innovation", he has doubled the student enrollment in his programs and is really doing amazing things at his job! I am so proud of him!

Cute girls under gorgeous blossoms!

Lizzie wanted double braids and is wearing her new PJ's!

Danny had all of the YM over to our house for their activity this week. They had a Jazz party watching the Bball game!

Here's a blurry shot of Danny getting his award.

Camping Prep- We are going camping this weekend and we wanted foil dinners to eat. So I made all the dinners Friday morning. The kids are really excited to go camping for the weekend, it should be tons of fun!

We headed out to camp Friday afternoon. We went to Jordanelle to camp this time and it was perfect; warm weather, gorgeous weekend, no wind and so fun!
We got camp all set up, made a fire and then headed down to the lake to explore.

We made our foil dinner, ate them, and then went back to the water to skip rocks, explore, watch the sun set, and we saw 5 deer! We went back other camp to have a fire, roast s'mores and relax around the fire.
Everyone turned in earlyish for bed, it was cold, and  we were all tired. We slept pretty well, and then woke to the sun. Made a big breakfast the fire and then headed to the lake for fishing, boating, a picnic, swimming and more!

The highlight of the day was Taylor & Isaac getting into the lake, the water was around 53 degrees!  It was SO cold! I put my feet in and they went numb really fast! They stripped down to their underwear and jumped in the lake!

We caught fish, Lizzie caught the biggest of the day- a nice big brown trout! She was thrilled!

All in all it was a fantastic camping trip! Everyone had fun, lots of smiles and great memories were made.
We are really ready for Summer!
