We ended our summer with cousins swim days, starting soccer , a fun dinner at the Governor's mansions and more. Taylor was working a lot at Guthries. We swam with friends and cousins as much as we could and tried to soak in a lot of summer fun!

Taylor had his first MTB Race at Solider Hollow.  He rode well in the heat and the dust and placed 25th.

School started on Monday August 19th.
Some of the kids were more excited than others. But overall I think it will be a great year for all the kids!
Lizzie is in 3rd grade with Ms. Lapante
She is doing dance at CDT and soccer.

Isaac is in 6th grade with Ms. Ganuccio.
He's playing soccer and the trumpet.

Emily is in 8th grade at Clayton
She is starting Tennis and still does Volleyball.

Taylor is a Jr. at East High he was really excited about getting back to school.

We had dinner at Settebello with Ray & Mary.
I went to the temple once the kids were in school
Dad had a heart pace maker put in and was at the hospital for a couple days. But that didn't stop him from mowing with one arm!

We celebrated Grandpa Wall's birthday and went to the Tullis house after River's spoke in church. Salty continues to get in to a little bit of trouble.

More pics of Salty.

Lot of working on bikes for Taylors MTB races.
Grandma Deppe came to visit and we had so much fun with her! We watched the BYU /U Football game and Salty was wearing his Red shirt!

Emily went to a Yoga Class in the mountains for a bday party this week.
Taylor had another race at Powder Mountain. He did great and it was lots of fun to watch him ride. Katie and Adam came to support him too! We love having them live nearby.

Summer is in full force around here! Swimming, late nights, games with cousins, water parks, fun with the new dog, etc... We've had a good summer and have had lots going on. Isaac did an advanced diving class and he did awesome! We had cousins here to play a lot and we went to Cherry Hill Water park with friends. It ended up being super cold and windy but we had fun still.

Taylor had the life changing experience to attend the
WorldWide Boy Scout Jamboree in West Virginia. He was gone for 2 weeks and he loved every second of it! He slept in a tent with his friend Oliver and took freezing cold showers too.
The biked, skateboarded, river rafting, repelling, zip lining, hiking etc.. There was 152 countries in attendance with 45,000 people . Half to the scouts were girls! He made great friends, had an amazing experience and learned a lot.

We had our end of summer neighborhood celebration! The bouncy slide is always a hit! the kids played hard for 12 or more hours staying outside all day long!  It's such a fun day, but it's exhausting too! We love our neighbors and have many good friends here.

We have been working on remodeling our house all summer long! It's slowly starting to make a little progress.
Danny, Taylor and Emily went to Flaming Gorge with the youth for ward youth conference. They had tons of fun!
the kids went on a ride in the Randall's convertible to get gelato, what a hit! Salty is still a great dog and the kids really love him.

We went hiking at Cecret Lake with cousins one afternoon. The weather and scenery there is so amazing!  We love seeing the wildflowers and seeing where we ski in the winter. It's the best!

The last few weeks we had Stake YW Girls Camp at Camp Lomondi, and Taylor went to the Worldwide Jamboree in West Virginia for 2 weeks. Lots to do and lots of fun!

He flew out on a Saturday night and they all liked so cute in their cowboy hats and uniforms. He has a great group he went with and I hope they have a terrific experience!

Here are a few pics form Girls camp!! We had a fabulous few days in the mountains near Liberty, Utah. The scenery was gorgeous and it got cooler at night. It was so great to be there with Emily too!

She hiked Ben Lomond which is a 15 mile hike! There was some confusion at the trials and they got a little lost so she hiked 18 miles that day! She is strong and awesome!

Taylor sends us pics from the Jamboree and it seems like he is really enjoying it! They have so much to do;
shooting guns, zip lining, rock repelling, hiking, white water rafting, biking, skate boarding, and meeting people form all over the world! He is there with 45,000 others people form 152 countries.

While he was gone we headed to Flaming Gorge for a few days for a camping trip! It was perfect weather and we had a blast boating, fishing and camping! We love it there so much!

We took Salty and he did great! He enjoys the boat even for long days and really seems to love being outside all day long!

A few more pics of Taylor and then a few random pics for this week. Bowling with friends, summer nights with the dog in the back of the truck, and playing Parcheese at G & G Shields house. We are living there still trying to get our house all done so we can move in!

July stuff!

We had a great week at Lake Powell!
Lots of fun on the water and so great to have everyone together!

We had two houseboats this year and 32 people! So many fun times and good memories. Lake Powell is really pretty!

We had good weather, not too hot and not stormy. We love to tube, surf, water ski, swim, cliff jump, play games etc..

Here's Taylor being a country boy!

Before Lake Powell Emily went to Brighton camp. Taylor was sleepy, we had fun with our new dog, Salty, I sewed patches and tons of neckerchiefs for Taylor at his World wide Jamboree! It was a great week!
Then we had a great reunion at the airport with President and Sister Shields! They are home from Toronto!

It was SO wonderful to see them and we all have missed them very much!

On the 4th of July we had dinner at John and Monica's house with cousins! Tons of fun! taylor went skiing at Snowbird and then we ended the night at the Forsthes for Fireworks etc... What a celebration!

We are packing in all the fun!
