Happy 13th birthday to Emily!!!
We celebrate Emily this week with lots of fun birthday celebrations! 

But first we went to the Nickel Arcade on Monday because there was no school. The leaves are SO gorgeous right now; yellow, red and so vibrant!  Monday night we had a neighborhood Halloween Party and it was super fun! 

Back to Emily's bday - we love her so much!  She is kind, helpful, smart, funny, athletic, nice, sassy and more! She had a fun breakfast, with huge "13" Balloons, then off to school. After school we had some fun she got a new bike, clothes, shoes. etc... We had dinner , her choice pasta/salad/bread/fruit and then we had Stake  Mutual.
Later I invited about 10 friends over for cake and games!  It was a successful bday and we are SO happy she's in our family! 

Danny and Taylor went fishing at Strawberry this weekend, and caught some good sized fish. Emily went to a spooky haunted house with her friends for Kate's bday and we spent a few hours at a park enjoying the gorgeous warm weather!

Saturday night we carved pumpkins, roasted the seeds, and then Sunday we went to the missionary farewell for David Forsythe. He is serving Guatemala on his mission, and it was great to catch up with family etc..
Halloween is in 3 days! 

I took the kids to get flu shots and Taylor relaxed in this chair for an hour!  We have fall break last week and we went to St. George for taylors Mountain Bike State Race!
It was a great trip to sunny St George and lots of fun! 

We hiked around in all the red rocks, so beautiful!
Friday Taylor had his race in the morning so we were there early.  He raced awesome and placed 16th overall in the Sophomore Category for the whole state! 

Jeffrey raced for Lone Peak in the afternoon and we had fun watching him too!

Saturday we hiked into an awesome slot canyon with lots of petroglyphs! We had so much fun exploring ! That night there was an big awards ceremony for all the racers at the Snow Canyon High School! Taylor got 6th overall for his division. It was a great event for his team. 

It snowed! There have been several giant storms this week and theres a lot of snow in the mountains! We went up to explore in the snow on Sunday after Church. SO much fun! 

Bo and Lauren are SO adorable and look at their thighs! They both went to Canada to see G & G Shields. 

Emily had a fun weekend in Park City with her friends. They are a great group of girls and I am so happy she has great friends! 

Taylor had a terrific Bike race at Eagle Mountain last week. He took 5th place and got on the Podium! We are SO proud of him and happy he's doing so well!

We had a great week- lots going on to keep us busy. Taylor went to his first homecoming dance this weekend. He asked a cute girl named Ruthie. They had a great time and had a blast! 

Lizzie has lots of fun with all of her friends.
Isaac went to an awesome swimming party with all of his friends and Emily & her friends had fun working on their dance for Clayton Jr High. They all have cute friends who are good influences in their lives.  Lots to be grateful for right now. 

Here are a few more pics from the homecoming dance. He had dinner and pictures at the SL Country Club. Then they went to the dance, and then went to play laser tag after.  It was a fun time for all of these kids! 

This weekend was General Conference. We enoyed hearing all the wonderful messages from our prophet and leaders. They announced that church will be going to only 2 hours from now on every Sunday. It was a big announcement and lots of other changes are coming too.
It was a nice weekend and great to see Gen. Conference. 

We had lots of fun with cousins etc.. last week. These smiles make me smile and laugh! 

Danny and I had fun at the Jazz game on Saturday night we had seats on the first row! We were in the suite for Zions Bank which included dinner, drinks etc... SO much fun!! It was the first game of the NBA season and the Jazz won! 

Emily hade Club Team Volleyball tryouts at Club V this weekend. SO much volleyball for her over 2 days, but she had fun!  I am happy she has a sport that she loves and is getting really good at VB. 

Thursday night we had a cool "Fall Festival" at Uintah, it was a terrific night and the kids had a blast!
Took Taylor to Breakfast one day at "Blue Plate Diner". It's his favorite place lately.

Taylor had a fun MTB race at Solider Hollow on Saturday. He raced really well, and placed 6th again! It was a gorgeous Fall day and the weather was nice and warm! 

Sunday night we had the Shields Family over for dinner. Lots of fun with cousins!
