We met the Shields cousins for a fun swimming day this week! Marc and Natalie were in town and so we all met at Teresa's pool.
Danny took the Randall family in our neighborhood boating one night, they had a great night on the lake. It was so pretty at Sunset! 

Sunday after church we packed up and left for McCall Idaho! We had a nice drive for 8 hours to Idaho. We took my new car, so there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out in the car.
We had the house this week with Mike, Erin and their kids, and Katie, Adam and Hugo.

We spent the whole week in our swimming suits swimming, fishing, sitting in the hot tub, boating, paddle boarding, kayaking, etc... There is so much to do there and we love it all!

Tuesday we rented a surf boat for the whole day. We spent 8 ours on the awesome new boat! We surfed, swam, went tubing, wake boarding etc.. Lots of fun that day! Adam brought his camera and got some great photos behind the boat. 

We basically went from our swiming suits to pj's every day. We tried to stay at the lake, pool or hot tub until the sun went down every single day. Wednesday was a mellow day just bouncing back from the beach, the lake to the pool at the Shore lodge to the several hot tubs! It was perfect! 

Ice cream at "Ice Cream" Alley is always a favorite thing to do after dinner! Their ice cream is tasty and their servings are giant! 

Thursday we went out on the Payette River. We paddle boarded. kayaked and spent a few hours on the beautiful crystal clear water! We packed a picnic lunch and ate on the banks of the river a couple miles down stream. the kids all did great on their water vehicles for those few hours. 

After the river we went looking for wild huckleberries.  We found a few but then we drove all the way in to the mountains to
"Lick Creek" falls. It's a gorgeous place where the river is melted glacier run off. We saw in the ponds and in the waterfall! The kids had a blast it was super fun! 

Friday we headed to the lake and had full day there. The kids LOVE to seen the the water trampoline and spend time doing tricks out there. We had so much fun with cousins playing in the sand with Skylar, Hugo, and Devin! They are all such cute kids! 

We LOVE McCall! Can't wait for next year! 

July is one of our families favorite months! So much fun! Isaac had 2 days at cub camp, Lizzie had fun at a little summer camp. Lots of pool days with cousins and friends, snow cones, night games, and YW temple trips to the Provo City Temple . 

We headed up to the mountains one day to get out of the heat! We spend a gorgeous day at Alta in Albion Basin. We hiked to Cecret Lake and had a blast! We had a picnic dinner at the lake, caught salamanders, saw the gorgeous wild flowers, enjoyed the beautiful scenery and enjoyed the weather being 72 degrees! 

Utah mountains are SO beautiful in the summer! 

The kids love seeing where we ski in the winter without all of the snow! It's so cool and such a great place to get away! We love Cecret Lake hike!

This week we had Baby Jane at our house for a few days! She is so funny and such a daring girl! The kids LOVE spending time with her and we all had so much fun.
Natalie, Richie & Baby Bowen moved to CA this week. It's hard to see them go, but we will hopefully see them soon. 

We met some friends up Millcreek Canyon one evening for smores' and a fire. It was a gorgeous, night and a lot cooler up the canyon! 

Taylor wen to Lake Powell with the Shields Clan, Isaac went to "Sea Quest" again with his friend Ben, and Lizzie had friends over to swim. Lots of fun!
Emily went to her first year of YW camp. This camp was in Heber and she had a blast!  Lots of laughs, good friends, staying up really late, games, delicious food, crafts etc... We had a fabulous camp! 

Saturday Danny brought his boat to Deer Creek to go boating , the girls all went tubing, and swam in the lake, paddle boarded, etc.. It was a terrific way or end the camp!

July is starting off with a bang! Lots of fun! Sunday night after trek we had a fun bday party for Chloe at G &G Wall's house. we had a blast seeing everyone and indulging in her crazy colored unicorn cupcakes!
We went to Cherry Hill with friends all afternoon and evening Monday. 

Tuesday we met Hugo, Katie, Adam, Goofy Grandpa, Jennifer, and her girls at the pool for swimming and then headed home for tacos for dinner that night. 

Wednesday morning was the 4th of July! We had a neighborhood breakfast and bike parade that was so fun! Then we went to a movie and then out to Bretts house for a BBQ in Draper! We had a fun night, unfortunately Isaac fell while getting off the trampoline and hurt his wrist again!  

Thursday morning I took Isaac to the Dr. right away. He has a small buckle fracture in his right wrist. He has another brace for 4 weeks. AHHH his injures are so stressful.

We quickly shopped, packed and got organized for a weekend of camping/boating/fishing at Flaming Gorge! It was a crazy few days but it was so nice at the Gorge! 

Flaming Gorge is really SO Gorgeous! It's similar to lake powell but with lots of green trees etc.. It's spectacular! 

I napped most of the way to Flaming Gorge and Taylor got a massive Kokanee Salmon at the early fishing session.  

We are watching cute Jane this week while her family is in Lake Powell! She is so fun and adorable! We love her! 

Natalie, Richie & baby Bowen are moving to CA this week. We had then over for dinner and it was fun to see baby B for a while. He is the sweetest guy and is really growing fast!
