A fun day of Boating!

 We spent a great day boating at Utah Lake on Grandpa Shields boat.  The kids had tons of fun, even Isaac liked it once he got used to wearing his life jacket.

 This was Spencer's hair after being blown in the wind all morning.  He has such adorable curly hair!

 We had fun riding on the boat, knee boarding, water skiing, and wake boarding.  Taylor & Jeffrey both knee boarded all by themselves!  They were really proud of their accomplishments and were smiling from ear to ear!

These two little girls rode on the boat, and had fun torturing uncle Derek and Uncle Colton.

It was a wonderful way to spend a hot day!

Colton came home from his mission in Canada yesterday and it was SO great to see him! 

He had a lot of attention from all the grandkids!  They all LOVE uncle Colton, and are so excited to have him home.  They can't wait to wrestle with him and bug him all the time!

It was a fabulous day.  Colton looks so happy and you can tell he really enjoyed his mission.

We were taling about missionaries and Taylor figured out that he would be the next boy to go on a mission!  It seems crazy that he will be 19 in only 12 years!  He is excited already!

We started volunteering at "This is the Place Pioneer Park" this week.  We work once a week for a few hours, and the kids love it!
This week we had a busy day; watered the crops, rode on a wagon, petted the baby lambs, rode the train, panned for gold, earned a "Zion Dollar" by completing an assignment, dipped candles and explored the whole park.  

Isaac was happy for an hour or so, and then he got really grumpy.

Taylor & Emily had a great time, and didn't want to leave when our shift was over.  I think it's going to be a fantastic way to spend our Tuesdays!  

Zoo Night

We went to the zoo last week at night, and it was tons of fun! We met Mono, Becca, Nat and Z & L and their cute kids to see all the animals in the evening. Everyone had a blast!

1st Day of Summer!

We had a fantastic 1st day of summer!

We spent the morning at the park exploring the river and playing kickball. Then off to the circle for a party with tons of treats, a bouncy house etc...

Isaac has tripped and fallen multiple times the past few days, and this was his latest scrape. He fell on the driveway scraped his forehead. He cried and looked so sad with a huge bloody scrape on his face. Poor little guy, he runs fast to keep up with his older siblings ( he has short, stubby legs!).
He loves these popsicles but makes such a HUGE mess!

We tried out our new popcorn maker for the party on the street. It was easy and fun to use and the kids loved it!

Then the kids gorged themselves on cotton candy, pizza, popcorn and more.

He had fun playing with his treat, but he didn't like eating it. He kept taking it out of his mouth, all sticky and messy, he never even swallowed any.

Emily decided to wear her cotton candy, instead of eat it! She devoured her treat and then ate Isaac's.

What a great way to start the summer!
