Birthday Party!

Last night we went to Aunt Mono's Birthday Party at Classic Skating. It was a lot of fun skating, scootering and playing on the bouncy houses.
I didn't get any picutres of the kids on the bouncy slides/houses. This is a pic. of Danny and Marcus doing the bungee jumping.

Emily with the B-day girl!

Everyone taking a little rest from all the skating.

This was Taylor's first time on rollerskates. He did great, he just needs a little more practice.

Emily chose to go in the stroller rather then attempt to skate. She got a fast ride from Marcus.
Mono-Thanks for a fabulous party, let's do it again next year!

Memorial Day

We had a fun Memorial Day weekend. We took the kids up the canyon to go on a hike and play in the stream.
Emily and Taylor put their feet in the icy cold water.

Danny and Taylor were checking out the stream to see if the fishing is good.

Sorry these are out of order:
Sunday night we went to Tooele to visit the cemetary and see where my grandpa Shields, cousin and great grandparents are buried.
The weather was cold and rainy, so we all huddled under one umbrella.
Isaac like the rain and watching the lightning.

This was earlier in the week, it's Isaac's first sucker! It kept him so quiet for 20 minutes, he loved it.
We hope you had a nice Memorial Day weekend.

Taylor has no school this week, because of Kindergarten assesments- so we've been doing projects and going lots of places.

Taylor wanted to make GAK, he heard about it from Aunt Mono. It's Borax, elmer's glue and water, you make a paste and it turns into a gooey mess. The kids loved it, they played with it all day.

Uncle Derek came as a surprise for Mother's Day weekend, and he let Taylor ride on this motorcycle. Taylor loves Derek, he thinks he is so cool.

I checked out a card from the Library that allows you to get into several museums, and Red Butte Gardens for free for one month.
So last week we went to Red Butte Gardens. The kids had so much fun!

There is a big kid's area, with a sand box, tunnels and things for kids to do. This is a fireman's pole inside a giant flower pot.

The girls, Taylor loves to take picutres now.

We explored a lot of the trails in the Garden's. There is a beautiful pond, gorgeous trees, flowers and shrubs to look at, and lots of water features.

Beautiful view of Salt Lake. We all love enjoying the warm Spring weather, check out Red Butte Gardens soon, it's a lot of fun.

No longer my baby!

It's official- Isaac is no longer a sweet, adorable, calm baby. He is turning into a toddler!
Just the past week or so, he has become demanding, agressive and he has even started throwing fits! We are not ready for him to grow up quite yet.
Here is a picture of him yelling about something he wants, and he yells loud.
He can't walk yet, but he crawls really quickly to wherever he wants to go.

He is really funny about his food. He loves all fruits, veggies, dairy and meat, but if he sees someone even chewing, or moving their jaw, he yells until he gets a bite. It's cute, but can get annoying at times.
His latest tricks are waving "bye bye", giving "high five" and patting his head. He is constantly trying to keep up with his older brother and sister. He likes to play with them and follows them around.

We love this guy to death! He is so much fun and has been a joy to our whole family!
